Fortress is a Southern Gospel Quartet who is committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in song. Our ministry is based in Clayton NC and was established in 2002. Since our start God has opened many doors. Fortress has completed 5 recording projects. Fortress was also blessed to be awarded as the Grand Champions of 2007 N.C. State Singing Convention. God has allowed us to serve in many Churches and venues through out our region. We are thankful for what God has done and we are looking forward to what He has in store in the future for our ministry.

Tim Davis comes to the group from Clayton NC and he sings the Lead. He does the emcee work for the group and handles the groups management duties. His greatest desire is to share the love of Jesus and tell others how they can know Him as Lord and Savior. He is married to Andrea who is his greatest support and love of his life. Tim and Andrea are members of C3 Church in Clayton. He has wonderful parents who he loves dearly, Mr. Milton Davis who has gone on to be with the Lord and Mrs. Barbara Davis from Fayetteville NC who has been his inspiration and encouragement since birth. He also has a talented brother named Sonny. Pray for Tim and Fortress as they travel and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Jeff Moore is one of the finest tenor singers in gospel music today. Not only can he hit the "High Notes" with ease, but he has a style of his own that will certainly bless hearts. Jeff helps in many roles and assist with managing live sound for Fortress. Jeff, his wife Amy, and their two sons, Matthew and Jacob live in Benson, NC. Jeff and his family attend Beulah Baptist Church in Benson NC. Fortress is so blessed to have Jeff as part of our ministry team. We know he will touch your heart with his testimony, song, and outgoing personality that reflects the love of Christ.

Lance Jeffrey sings the Baritone part for the group and has a style that is all his own. Lance can really deliver the message in song with power and passion. Lance is from Eastover NC where he continues to call home. Lance attends church at Fayetteville Community Church. Lance loves meeting folks everywhere we go and never meets a stranger. You are sure to love His wonderful voice and outgoing personallity.

Singing the Bass for Fortress is Tim Perry. Tim is one of the most gifted and annointed Bass singers of today. He has a great passion for serving the Lord and for reaching the lost and hurting with the "Good News". We are thrilled that he has chosen Fortress to be a part of his ministry team. Tim and his wife Pat call Zebulon N.C. Home. Tim has been singing for some 25 years and has served with some wonderful groups such as The Whites, The Watchman Quartet, and most rececently Legacy. Some of Tim's favorite Bass Singers are Mike Holcombe and George Younce. Tim's primary Reason to Sing is to uplift the name of Jesus and see souls won for Him. Tim and Pat are members of Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church.
